Here is photo of another one of your pieces bringing whimsy into our home @alisonpilonnokesart Chicken Friend welcomes everyone in our front entryway!

I recently traveled to Mission Espiritu Santo in Goliad, Texas. The visit inspired me to begin a series about the symbolism of mission work and the native people and places it involves. These are some of the patterns and concepts that I’ve been developing.

This is my abstract version of my brain coral painting.

I’m incredibly thrilled that this wonderful couple bought my first piece that I’ve shown at the Downtowner Gallery in Round Rock! Frankly, I’m over the moon because this is the first piece I’ve sold in an art gallery! I will enjoy getting caught in the rain even more now. 💙🌦

Did you know that coral is actually a bunch of living invertebrates? I won Grand Champion in the 5th grade science fair on my brain coral project. Brain coral is boss! 🤓🧠

👩🏼‍🎨💛I have a piece currently hanging down in Buda @inspiredmindsarts. It is such a bright and cheerful gallery!

I haven’t been posting much lately, but I wanted to share these two pieces with you! I’m not sure if it is our upcoming trip to the beach or the summertime heat, but I’ve been really inspired by ocean life and all things turtle lately! The first pic is a piece I finished earlier in the week, and the second is my abstract interpretation of the first piece. Both will be on my new website soon.
