Betsy is an artist who used to draw a lot until she tried painting some years ago. She took a variety of fine arts classes in college for her Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design and Costume Construction. She returned to college later to complete her Master of Science in Nursing and enjoys serving her community as a nurse.
Betsy considers herself to be an outspoken artist and enjoys sharing her points of view through the use of abstract shapes. Her painting practice provides an outlet for her creative mind. Her need for self expression goes beyond the boundaries of the mundane world.
Betsy lives in the Austin area with her family. She enjoys spending time outdoors and meeting new people. She is active in the local art scene and her work has been exhibited in various venues in Texas. She serves on the board of CAS, a local non-profit for artists in the greater Austin area.
